DAVID POORE - Phoenix, AZ
David capably fills the lead vocal role for CRUZ & the BOOMERS and assists with background vocals and percussion.  He comes from a musical family and gained an early appreciation for music watching his father perform in a gospel quartet in New England. David began singing during college while attending Arizona State University where together with Steve Johnson and John Andrews he performed in the rock band "Eclipse". During 1978, David and Steve participated with their fraternity in a musical/theatrical competition held at Grady Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, Arizona taking first place.  David is musically active in his Church.
