JOHN ANDREWS - Tempe, AZ John lays down a groove on his Modulus bass guitar & keyboards and provides background vocals for CRUZ & the BOOMERS. His musical interest started at a young age in his grandmothers living room where he watched her give piano lessons. Learning piano, guitar and bass guitar while growing up, John met Steve Johnson and Jon Hainlen in High School and together started "Eclipse". While attending Arizona State University, John and Steve continued performing in "Eclipse" joined by lead singer David Poore. Inspired by the Eagles reunion with "Hell Freezes Over", John formed Cruz & the Boomers in 1996 with many of the original members of "Eclipse" joined by the new talent of guitarist Andy Cable and percussionist Chuck Leyva.
