STEVE JOHNSON - Chandler, AZ
Steve plays keyboards, harmonica, lead and background vocals for CRUZ & the BOOMERS.  Taking organ lessons at the age of five, he progressed to the point where his teacher arranged for him to play for the Phoenix Giants baseball games.  Steve met John Andrews and Jon Hainlen at Saguaro High School and together they started the rock band "Eclipse".  While attending ASU, Steve continued in "Eclipse" joined by fraternity brother David Poore.  Steve has been active in the Motorola employee dance and big bands.  His reputation for singing "Elvis" led to recording a background track to be used in promoting a Motorola product.
